Jose Mourinho could be entertained by one of his best transfer windows this summer.
It has been reported that the board are preparing a stunning £300m for the next Manchester United manager who is hugely tipped to be Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho.
The club will not be worried about FFP rules as they are making huge revenues and they’ve already got some money put aside from last summer.
The net spend from last summer was low and the club could have spent at least £100m without having anything to worry about and let’s not forget that no money was spent in January either.
Manchester United sold 10 players including stars like Robin van Persie, Chicharito, Nani, Rafael and Angel di Maria as well as opted out of keeping striker Radamel Falcao.
The club also sent out 7 players on loan making the team which had played the previous season decrease by a huge number of 18 players all at once.
On the other hand, only 6 players were recruited into the first team (Schweinsteiger, Martial, Depay, Darmian, Romero, Schneiderlin) alongside two U18 starlets (Boonen, Poole).
This has damaged the team a lot and Louis van Gaal paid the price for his mistake as injuries has hit the team and with De Gea’s injury, the amount of selectable players has decreased to less than half.
But the board might not be willing to allow such risks to be taken again with the money and personality being there for a club like Manchester United to have a successful transfer window this time.
