Manchester United suffered a 2-1 defeat against PSV in their first Champions League group stage game, but the defeat wasn’t the worst even of the night, it was Luke Shaw‘s horrible injury.
Luke Shaw was tackled as he was dribbling into the penalty area and fell down, with a double fracture on his leg.
According to [Press Association] Luke Shaw‘s double fracture is incredibly serious and is unlikely to play again in 2015/16 season.
Luke Shaw will fly to Manchester and have surgery there [Telegraph].
Based on previous double fracture injuries to footballers, Luke Shaw could be out for minimum 3 months – max 7 months, but reports are saying he could be out for up to 8-9 months. It will all be revealed soon.
