Manchester United‘s injury crisis seem to be ongoing this season for Louis van Gaal as he could be staying without Bastian Schweinsteiger for a longer period than expected.
The Germany international suffered a knee injury against Sheffield United which saw him sidelined since.
When Louis van Gaal was asked about his injury update he said that he ‘cannot say’ as injuries sometimes develop further than what the medical team predict.
Van Gaal said:
- “Every time I make a remark about injuries it is always difficult because injuries have developments and you have to wait and see.”
- Also they have to train and be adapted to the rhythm of the Premier League which is high. When you are more weeks injured it takes more time to adapt to that rhythm.”
And now, according to [M.E.N] Schweinsteiger will be out for another month with his injury.
The good news is, Michael Carrick is back and will probably start taking Marouane Fellaini‘s spot which he’s been occupying in the absence of the experienced midfielders.
Schweinsteiger has been supporting in his own way on social media, showing great passion for the team he only joined in the summer.
Next round of the FA Cup! Very well done, lads 👍 #mufc
